Had just about everything loaded last night. Slept in trailer, kids slept at Ivan's, Rita's, and Sandie's, some in trailer. Got up about 7:00 AM and waited for Dave till about 4:00 PM. Ivan and Grace gave us breakfast and we sat under Patsy's tree most of the day. Hunsucker's were moved in already. Finally got going and arrived at Mecca at Dave's parents about seven. There was a hot wind blowing. They served cold lemonade and I fixed dinner in the trailer. Got going again about 10:45 PM and drove till about 4:00 AM, where we slept at Yuma, Arizona.

These entries are word for word from the 3 month journal my Mom kept describing our move to Arkansas and beginning our lives here. I love this journal... I just wish she had kept one for their 50+ years of marriage.
